Booking Meeting Rooms
The following meeting rooms located on the 2nd floor may be
reserved for use by Tenants at 522 University Avenue:

How to Request Meeting Rooms
- For each Tenant at 522 University Avenue, Industrial Alliance will
have a list of employees who are authorized to request meeting
rooms. If you require further information in this respect, please
contact the Building Superintendent.

- An authorized employee may request a meeting room by sending
an e-mail to Industrial Alliance's Help Desk at helpdesk@ia.ca.
The e-mail's subject line should read "meeting room request".

- Availability of the room will then be confirmed by Industrial Alliance and an email reply sent accepting or declining the meeting
room request.

- The meeting room e-mail request should contain the following
information:
1. Large or small meeting room (or preferred meeting room if
desired)
2. Date
3. Start Time
4. End Time
5. Organizer
6. Room setup style (For Currie or Sparling Room bookings
only. The Currie and Sparling rooms may be setup in three different
configurations - theatre style, U-shape or classroom style.)

- We regret that the Sparling Room will not be available between
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on regular working business days.
Canceling a Meeting Room Request
- If a meeting room is no longer required, an e-mail must be
forwarded to the Industrial Alliance Help Desk at helpdesk@ia.ca
approximately 2-3 hours before the start time of meeting to cancel
the request. Failure to cancel a meeting room request will result
in the tenant being charged at a regular rate even though meeting
does not take place.
Meeting Room Equipment
- The meeting rooms are equipped with the following items only:

- - White boards
- Markers
- Chairs
- Tables

- Any additional equipment needed must be provided by the tenant.
Industrial Alliance will not be responsible for the setup of the equipment,
and will not be responsible for the loss or theft of equipment
or any other items from meeting rooms. Please be careful not
to leave items in meeting rooms unattended.
Invoicing for Meeting Room Reservations
- At the end of each month, Tenant firms will be issued detailed
invoices for meeting rooms reservations.

Catering Requests
- Aramark is the only authorized company that
can provide catering services to the meeting rooms on the 2nd
floor. To arrange for catering services please contact Lori Olsen at (416) 598-2122 ext 302696.
