Frequency of Service
Five days per week, Monday to Friday, after 5:30 pm. Statutory holidays excluded.
Services to be performed nightly in all areas:
1. Empty all waste receptacles and place garbage for disposal.
2. Desks and table tops will be damp wiped where left clear of papers, files, boxes, equipment, etc.
3. Dust all filing cabinets, ledges, counter tops, etc.
4. Dust all telephones, clean and disinfect once per week.
5. Remove obvious finger marks from glass partitions, door frames, etc.
6. Entrance glass will be thoroughly cleaned nightly.
7. Carpets will be thoroughly vacuumed twice per week.
7. Floors will be washed daily, polished once per week.
Elevators, Lobbies and Corridors
Nightly Services
1. All interior cab carpets to be thoroughly vacuumed and spot cleaned (spot stains up to 3" diameter).
2. Carpeted floors to be vacuumed thoroughly and spot cleaned.
3. Brightwork to be cleaned and polished to remove all finger marks and smudges. Elevator tracks will be vacuumed.
4. Elevator doors and door frames to be cleaned and polished.
5. Walls and lights to be spot cleaned nightly and completely cleaned once per week.
6. Waste receptacles to be emptied and the waste removed to a designated area for disposal.
7. Ashtrays to be emptied into metal containers and wiped cleaned.
8. Drinking fountains to be washed and disinfected.
9. Second floor slate lobby to be spray buffed.
10. High dusting of ledges, door frames, etc. within arm's reach to performedevery two weeks.
11. Firehose cabinets to be thoroughly cleaned once per month.
Stairwells and Landings
1. Stairs and landings from the 2nd floor down, to be swept and damp-mopped nightly. Hand rails to be dusted.
2. Balance of stairwells to be checked for litter.
3. Stairs and landings from the 2nd floor up will be swept and damp-mopped and checked for finger marks weekly.
4. Landings to be spray buffed weekly if necessary.
Washrooms
1. Floors to be swept, washed and rinsed using a germicidal detergent nightly.
2. All basins, bowls and urinals to be washed and disinfected with a germicidal detergent nightly.
3. Partitions, tile walls and dispensersto be damp wiped with a germicidal agent nightly.
4. Paper towels and sanitary disposal receptacles to be emptied and cleaned nightly . Waste to be removed to a designated area for disposal.
5. All toilet tissue holders, soap dispensers and towel dispernsers to be replenished with supplied products from building stock.
6. All washroom bowls and urinals to be de-limed weekly.
Sparling Dining Room, Coffee Stations, Kitchens, Servery, Cafeteria etc.
Nightly Services
1. Collect waste, clean exterior of containers and replace liners.
2. Non-carpeted flooring will be thoroughly dust mopped with a dust preventative method andf washed rinsed. Where carpet if found, the carpet will be thoroughly vacuumed and spot cleaned.
3. Walls and ledges to be kept free of dust and splash marks.
4. Sinks and counters to be cleaned with a germicidal agent and polished.
5. Finger marks and smudges to be removed from doors, walls, cupboards etc.
6. The exterior of appliances to be wiped clean if not the responsibility of the catering contractor (All cafeteria areas except 2nd floor).
7. Table tops and chairs to be wiped clean if not the responsibility of the catering contractor (All cafeteria areas except 2nd floor).
8. Bases of tables to be wiped clean.
9. Sparling room furniture to be vacuumed weekly.
Periodic Services
1. Fabric chairs to be vacuumed monthly. (if requested - at an additional cost)
2. High dusting of ledges, tops of doors etc. within arm's reach, to be performed monthly.
3. Non-carpeted flooring to be scrubbed and waxed when required.
Conference Rooms and Training Rooms:
Nightly Services
1. Carpeting to be thoroughly vacuumed and spot-cleaned.
2. Waste paper receptacles to be emptied and waste removed to a designated area of disposal. Liners to be replaced as necessary.
3. All furniture tops and other horizontal surfaces to be damp wiped where left clear of papers, files, boxes, equipment, etc.
4. Finger marks or smudges to be removed from walls, doors, interior glazing etc.
5. Telephones to be damp wiped.
Periodic Services
1. All open shelving to be hand dusted weekly.
2. Wall hangings, tops of doors, high ledges, high cabinets, exit signs, clocks, etc. to be dusted monthly.
3. Vertical surfaces (i.e. sides of chairs, tables and other equipment to be dusted using a dust preventative method weekly).
4. Window ledges to be damp wiped weekly.
Office Areas
Nightly Services
1. All non-carpeted areas to be damped mopped.
2. All carpeting will be vacuumed in traffic lanes (which includes the areas of movement of an employee to and from the desk) and litter picked up in the remaining areas.
3. All furniture, systems partitions and other horizontal surfaces to be damp wiped to some height limitation where left clear of papers, files, boxes, equipment, etc.
4. All waste paper receptacles to be emptied and waste removed to a designated area for disposal. Liners to be replaced as necessary.
5. Obvious finger marks or smudges to be removed from walls, other painted surfaced and interior glazing.
6. Telephones to be damp wiped.
Periodic Services
1. Non-carpeted areas to be spray buffed weekly and refinished when necessary.
2. All open shelving to be hand dusted weekly.
3. Vertical surfaces (i.e. sides of chairs , tables, filing cabinets and other equipment to be dusted using a dust preventative method every month.
4. Finger marks and smudges to be removed from doors, partitions and around light switches weekly.
5. Induction units to be damp wiped weekly.
6. Wall hangings, tops of doors, high ledges, high cabinets, exit signs, clocks to be dusted monthly.
7. Telephones to be wiped clean monthly with a germicidal agent.
8. All brightwork including pushplates and kickplates to be cleaned twice monthly.
9. Firehose cabinets to be thoroughly cleaned once per month.
10. All fabric furniture to be brushed and vacuumed monthly. (if requested - at an additional cost)
Computer Rooms (additional and or special treatments)
Nightly services
1. Flooring to be dust mopped with a dust preventative method.
2. All waste to be collected and removed and liners to be replaced.
3. All spillage's to be removed.
4. Interior partition glass to be spot cleaned.
5. All floors to be damp mopped weekly.
