ENTERING THE BUILDING OUTSIDE REGULAR OFFICE HOURS
(Monday to Friday: 6pm - 7am/ Weekends & Statutory Holidays:
all day)
Outside regular office hours, the main lobby entrance doors, rear lobby entrance doors, all entrances to the building including the garage and loading dock, and all stairwell entrance doors within the building are locked.
Pedestrian access to the building is limited to card access at the North Main Lobby Door only.
Access to the loading dock is controlled from the main lobby security desk.
Access to the parking garage is controlled from the main lobby security desk. A person wishing to enter the parking garage will contact the security personel using the intercom located at the garage access card reader to have the door temporarily unlocked to enable card access.
Access to the upper Tenant floors is controlled at the main lobby security desk. All persons wishing to access the upper floors are required to swipe a valid building access card at the card reader located at the entrance to the elevator lobby. This is monitored by the security personel. If the access card is not valid, or if the person wishing to enter the building does not have a valid access card, then the appropriate procedure established for each building Tenant must be followed before access to the upper floors is permitted.
Access to Industrial Alliance floors: A person without a valid access card is required to telephone a Industrial Alliance employee in the building who has a valid access card. The Industrial Alliance employee is required to come down to the security desk, swipe the valid access card, sign in the person wishing to be permitted access, and sign themselves as the person responsible for authorizing entry, otherwise access is denied.

When leaving, all persons are required to swipe a valid building access card at the card reader located at the entrance to the elevator lobby. This is monitored by the security personel. REMOVING ITEMS FROM THE BUILDING OUTSIDE REGULAR OFFICE
HOURS
(Monday to Friday: 6pm - 7am/ Weekends & Statutory Holidays:
all day)
Anyone carrying items such as large boxes, computers, furniture or any other suspicious/unusual object, etc. will be requested to follow a procedure specific to the Tenant floor from which the item is being removed, as follows:
Items removed from Industrial Alliance floors: A person removing such items as those indicated above will be requested to explain the reason for removing the items from the building and will be requested to show that they have a letter giving them permission to remove the items. All large boxes will be inspected for contents. In the case of laptop computers, the person will be requested to show that they have a valid and current "loan agreement".
If the person has a letter, or a letter of authorization has previously been sent to the security desk, the Security personel will confirm that the letter describes the item and will examine the person's building access card to establish that it is the person who is allowed to remove the item. All letters of authorization will be retained. "Loan agreements" for laptop computers will remain with the laptop computer.
If the person does not have a letter, the Security personel may, in some circumstances, request that the item not be removed from the building. However, in most cases the Security personel will permit the item to be removed from the building after logging the following:
(1) the name of person
(2) a general descripton of the item being removed
(3) the time of event
